Our Commitment to Ethical Tourism
At SKM Tours, responsible travel is at the heart of what we do. As a UK-registered Veterinary Nurse with a lifelong passion for animal welfare and wildlife, I have a particular interest in ensuring that tourism respects and protects Tanzania’s incredible wildlife.
We are committed to promoting responsible travel that benefits local communities, supports the protection of wildlife, and helps preserve Tanzania’s natural beauty for generations to come. We believe that experiencing Tanzania’s wildlife should go hand in hand with understanding, respecting, and helping to conserve the animals and environments that make this country so special.

Serengeti Migration Safari
The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations, famous for its endless golden plains and extraordinary abundance of wildlife. It is home to large populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and countless plains animals.
The park is perhaps best known for the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing and water. Yet the Serengeti is spectacular throughout the year, offering unforgettable wildlife encounters against one of Tanzania’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Ngorongoro Crater Adventure
Often described as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater is a remarkable wildlife haven surrounded by the dramatic walls of an ancient volcanic caldera.
Descending into the crater reveals a rich landscape of grasslands, woodland, wetlands and a permanent water supply, supporting an impressive concentration of wildlife. Visitors may encounter elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.
Beyond its wildlife, Ngorongoro offers a fascinating glimpse into the relationship between Tanzania’s landscapes, wildlife and local communities.

Tarangire national park
Known for its magnificent elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire National Park is a truly special part of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Its sweeping savanna plains, seasonal wetlands and ancient woodland provide a rich habitat for an incredible variety of wildlife.
During the dry season, animals are drawn towards the Tarangire River, creating wonderful opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and many other species gathering around the park’s precious water sources.
With its dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife and peaceful atmosphere, Tarangire offers an authentic safari experience and is a beautiful reminder of why protecting Tanzania’s wild spaces is so important.
